    I’m a newcomer to this, how about more info on what’s happening. Is a helmet required? (I don’t plan to do more than 1 or 2 max autocrosses) Buy/rent helmet info please.

    Loaner helmets are available at no charge at the event.

    Hi Bo, This will be my first autox as well. You may want to check out the novice FAQ thread at the ccrscca message board (link: http://ccrscca.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=solo2&action=display&thread=2188). It fills quite a few gaps from the event info. Hope that helps..

    Didn’t see anything about ’senior citizen discounts’, but I’ll be OK. :)

    What a blast for my first autocross (I’m 69). The biggest rush in my life (romances excluded).
    I only got lost twice and only killed two cones, but I did have one great run, with a great ‘teach’ on board.
