The Wolf Ridge Hillclimb is the culmination of several years worth of hard work to bring a hillclimb back into the Western NC area. We feel that this event could potentially be greater than the famed Chimney Rock Hillclimb. The site is challenging yet fun and also safe.
The hillclimb is just under 2 miles in length, and has approximately 800 feet in elevation change from the starting area to the finish at the top of the mountain. The course has two large, wide sweeping turns nearing 180 degrees. Views from the top of the mountain are absolutely breath-taking, as can be seen in the photo galleries page.
The site is located only 5 minutes from a major highway, I-26 from Tennessee to North Carolina, has easy access to fuel (stanard 93 octane pump fuel.) And has lodging available only seconds away from the hillclimb site.

Why do you not provide information about the cost of admission for spectators and also what may or may not be available,as far as food, drinks, etc.

Sorry, I should have included a link ot the WRHC site. I’ve added it. Details should be on the WRHC site. That site is not managed by the CCR webmaster.
Spectator charges (if any) are handled by the event site, not CCR-SCCA.

spoke to a rep at wolf ridge today 4-27-09 and she had no info at all about the event and said that it was all up to you guys? The # called was 877-828-9653. Also there is no spectator info (other than rental) on their site.Help. Thank’s

There is no charge to watch and food is available on site at their lodge. WWW.scenicwolfresort.com is rental cabin website and number is 828-528-9653. Fast food, etc is about 4 miles away and there are a few convenience stores within a mile.
