The CCR-SCCA family extends it’s sympathies to the family and friends of Rich Shafer. Rich lost his life after a racing indicent over the weekend. He drove the Cool Shirt Chevy Camaro in SCCA time trials and hillclimbs. The company and product he worked with, Cool Shirt, has been a great benefit to racers, firefighters, doctors and more.

Rich was 66 at the time of his death. He will be missed by everyone that has known him.

In lieu of flowers donations can be accepted and should be sent to Christ Our Hope Lutheran in the name of Rich Shafer. These donations will be used for causes dear to Rich’s heart.
