Tutorial - Page 7Timer ControlNote: If you are using manual data entry mode, you may skip to the next page. Timer control is carried out from the Staging Window and will depend on whether or not the Timer you have selected provides both Start and Finish triggers. The AXWRATS Timer, AC4 (pre mid-2001), JACircuits (in Chrono Timer mode), and Tag Heuer timers all provide start indicators. As such, the software can provide additional capabilities to control the timers and timing data. Timers that provide only the Finish trigger provide a significant less amount of control. If the Timer provides both Start and Finish triggers, a series of Stop Watch buttons and a Reset Finish button provide control over the Start and Finish triggers. The Stop Watch buttons provide visual indications of running timers, with simulated elapsed times displayed in each button respectively. The buttons also a Start trigger Reset capability when pressed. The number of stopwatch buttons depends on the number of logical timers that are configured via the Port and Timer Setup Options tab described in Page 2. Below is a snapshot of 4 Stop Watch Timers (the default).
