I would like to invite everyone to the SWCCCR meeting this Thursday night May 14th at the Ryan’s on Lauren’s Road in Greenville, SC. We will eat from 6 to 7 and at 7, we’ll cover results from recent events and schedules for upcoming motorsports events in the southeast. We will recap the Wolf Ridge Hillclimb event and cover plans for the CCR  Memorial Road Races May 23 and 24 (we need more drivers and workers…sign up today!) and the SCR Time Trial on May 25th ($125 for 1 ½ hours on CMP!)Be sure to bring info on any items you have for sale or trade.

We had a speaker but his plans changed. After discussing this with several members, we decided to do something different.

Let’s go let off some steam. We will have a short meeting at 7 to 7:30/7:45 and then drive down to Frankie’s Fun Park on Woodruff Road for some Go-kart fun. It’s $6 a ride but they have a special where we can get 3 runs for $15 so bring your money.!!!   Also, bring a camera and the family. Your wife should get some pics of you smiling like a Cheshire cat. Should be a nice break from the work week and weather should be nice and cool. Let’s do it! The team won the event by 205 point, beating out Peter Lier and Ian Stewart in a Porsche 996 GT2.
