We plan to kick off the 2010 year with our first meeting of the year thursday night February 11th at Quaker Steak and Lube just off Woodruff Rd. next to the Harley Davidson shop. We hope to see you there and that you will bring a friend. Show them THE GARAGE DOOR THAT SWCCCR BUILT!

We will have updates on recent events, a report from Lemons, a long range calendar of events, updates from SCCA’s SEDIV Conference last weekend and doorprizes! I have asked a few members to make some special reports I am sure you will enjoy! Please come prepared to tell us about what you’ve been up to since we last met!

The CCR-SCCA family would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Puckett family upon the loss of Harry Puckett. Harry joined SCCA in 1965 and was a long time road racer.

The CCR-SCCA family would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Theodore family upon the loss of Ted Theodore’s mother.

The CCR-SCCA family would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Eckerich family upon the loss of Steve Eckerich’s father.

At CCR’s Annual Awards Banquet in Asheville the following annual awards were given.

• Alton Long Memorial Award - Rich Little

We’ll have the first social of 2010 on January 20 along with a meeting about the 2010 SOLO events, core workers, trophy presentation for the Folger Subaru Knight’s Series and championship trophies for the CCRSCCA Folger Subaru Autocross Series.

We’ll meet at 6:30 for dinner and social time. Around 7:30 we’ll meet and have trophy presentations.
