The Rockin' Road Hillclimb
at Eagle's Nest will be conducted up Beech Mountain Banner Elk, NC. The event
begins Friday with Tech and Registration.
Familiarization runs will begin
Saturday morning with timed runs to follow after lunch and continuing
Sunday. The event will benefit local service organizations. Our
host for the event is renowned developer, John Turchin
The entry to Eagle's Nest is approx. 1.5 miles from the center of Banner Elk driving toward Elk Park.

5:00pm-7:00pm Comp cars move to assigned parking places, instructions given by
Paddock Chief, Brian Gause
9:00pm – 7:00 am No Race Engines, except to position cars in the paddock area.
*** Registration and Tech will be in Downtown Banner Elk, Friday from
8:00am-5:00pm. Paddock spaces will be marked and you will be directed where to
park at registration. We will have our club trailer set up for walk-up
registration. Tech inspectors will have a pop-up shelter set up nearby for tech
inspections. Please have your logbooks correct and up to date.
SATURDAY, Aug. 1st
7:00am – 8:00am Late Registration Open at the SCCA trailer at The Great Camp.
7:00am - 8:00am Late Tech Open at The Great Camp.
7:15am Worker meeting/Worker Placement/Assignments The Great Camp Start Line-Don

7:30am Drivers Meeting at The Great Camp Grid Line- Mark Mashburn, Tony
Wentworth, all first time drivers will meet with Tony Wentworth after the
drivers meeting.
8:30am First two runs un-timed for familiarization followed by Official timed
runs for all classes. The course has changed, this practice is important.
12:00pm – 1:00pm Worker/driver/crew lunch break at The Great Camp Pavilion by
Carolina BBQ.
5:00pm End of timed runs
7:00pm – 7:00 am No Race Engines

7:00am - 8:00am Late Registration Open at Registration/Timing Trailer
